CitiSci - an open science forum

Sadly the 2022 event could not go ahead, but

we hope to be live again in 2024

School of Environment
 University of Auckland

The goal of CitiSci is to provide a forum where people interested or active in conservation can learn about and exchange ideas with the developers of innovative tools and techniques.
Our 2022 event was delayed due to covid restrictions. Since the strength of this event is in its
active discussion and exchange of ideas, we opted not to shift to a virtual online format.
We are looking forward to being able to run an inperson event in 2023.

CitiSci is being produced through a collaboration between the School of Environment, University of Auckland, the Auckland Council, and the Auckland Museum Institute (Auckland branch of the Roy. Soc. NZ).
Enquiries: Contact Rosemary on [email protected]

Our planned 2022 sessions:
Topics areas include applying AI in conservation, digital tools in conservation, freshwater monitoring, botanical pathogens, contributing to Auckland volcanism knowledge.
